The van is already on the road

BoxSpeed is the nationwide collect, store and return service of the PianoSpeed group, based in Oxfordshire. PianoSpeed's crews have moved pianos into and out of homes, shops, schools and concert halls across Britain every week for years, running a fixed timetable of postcode areas so that a delivery to Aberdeen and a collection from Cornwall each sit on a route that is already paid for.

That timetable is the whole idea behind BoxSpeed. Because our vans are in every region on a fixed day anyway, adding a stop to collect twelve boxes costs a fraction of what it costs a storage company that has to send a van out specially. We pass that on: nationwide collection at a small-van price, with two crew who carry, and a return to any address in Britain for one flat fee.

Everything is stored in our secure, alarmed warehouse in Oxfordshire, in sealed crates and containers, with a scan and a photograph for every item at every handover. The people who load your boxes are the same people trusted with concert grands.

What we promise

• A fixed day for every one of 117 postcode areas, published in advance, with confirmed dates at booking.
• Two crew at every stop. You do not carry anything.
• Prices by the box and by the item, a published cap, and no fee you did not see before you booked.
• A photograph and a scan for every item at collection and return, and an online inventory in between.
• Return to any address in mainland Britain, not just where we collected.

What we do not do

• We do not do same-day or next-day collections. Your area's day is your day. It is why the price is what it is.
• We do not offer customer access to the warehouse. Book a part return instead.
• We do not move whole houses. Our sister removals company in the same group does, and we will introduce you.
